Accreditation

Accreditation is a voluntary method of quality assurance designed to evaluate schools and their use of rigorous educational standards, protocols, and research-based processes.  UMGA is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
Sacs logo The University of Miami Global Academy is fully accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), which accredits K-12 schools, distance education, and post secondary schools. This organization was founded in 1895 and accredits over 13,000 schools and school systems globally. At UMGA, our SACS accreditation provides our families with the assurance that their child is receiving the high quality education they expect from the University of Miami.
FCIS_Clr_Logo The University of Miami Global Academy is a member of the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS), a professional education association founded in 1954 by a small group of independent private school leaders. Their purpose was to establish high standards for nonpublic schools. 
NAIS_logo The University of Miami Global Academy is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS), a non-profit membership association that provides services to more than 1,700 schools and associations of schools in the United States and abroad, including 1,400 independent private K-12 schools in the U.S. 
School choice The University of Miami Global Academy is registered with the Florida Department of Education as part of the Florida Private Schools Directory.
Nacol Logo The University of Miami Global Academy is a member of the International Association for K-12 Online Learning. This non-profit association serves as an advocate for effective online education, develops K-12 online learning quality standards, offers professional development opportunities, and shares information, resources, and expertise across the education community.
College Board College Board is a not-for-profit membership association that serves to connect students to college success and opportunity. College Board issues schools a CEEB code, which is used to register for Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT), American College Testing (ACT), SATII, and Advanced Placement (AP) exams. The University of Miami Global Academy’s CEEB code is 100372.
